The Northern Pike is a fish any fisherman would like to catch because it puts up a good fight. This pike has been a delicacy since ancient times. In fact, the Northern Pike has eaten since Roman times. Fishermen just try to catch Northern Pike because of the amazing things a pike will do to escape. First, the pike attacks really, really hard. Then the good part. The Northern Pike will actually leap out of the water. As the pike is leaping, it will do all the aerial acrobatics it knows. If it's lucky, it will escape and will leave a fisherman without a pike. But the good news for the fisherman is that he or she comes home with a good fish story.
